My Story
Greetings! I’m Lucas Patton, an accomplished high school senior hailing from Sout Orange County, California. At the age of 8, I embarked on an exciting journey when my family relocated to South America, Chile. It was during this transformative period that I discovered my profound love for soccer, honing my skills on both local competitive teams and the vibrant streets of my new town. As a dedicated goalkeeper, I developed exceptional agility, sharp reflexes, and an unwavering determination for the game.
I also ventured into cricket, proudly representing the Chilean youth national team for several seasons. At 15, I returned to my hometown, seamlessly reintegrating into the local community. On the soccer field, I’ve been a pivotal member of the South County Pateadores club soccer team, serving as the starting goalie under the expert guidance of Coach Robert “Chip” Fuller for the past three years. Together, we’ve clinched numerous championships while fostering a strong sense of camaraderie and teamwork.
Beyond soccer, I’ve excelled in other arenas. From punting on the varsity football team to showcasing my musical talents as a drummer in the high school wind ensemble and as a tuba player in the marching band, I thrive in diverse environments. I’ve also balanced a part-time job and an internship at a local radio station while maintaining a competitive GPA and excelling in various honor courses.
As I stand poised to embark on the exciting journey of college, my dedication to soccer remains unwavering. I look forward to continuing to play at a competitive level while pursuing academic excellence in my chosen field of study. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me, and I’m eager to answer any questions you might have.
Best regards,
Lucas Patton
